A Guide to Customizing Your Chrome Axle Covers

Customizing Your Chrome Axle Covers: A Guide

While our chrome axle covers are a cheap way to cover your hubs, one complaint we often hear is that you can’t personalize them like you can with a combination of lugnut covers and hubcaps. NOT SO, say the chrome experts. You definitely have plenty of options for stepping up the chrome factor of your axle covers. Here are a few of our best ideas.

Chrome plastic replacement pointed front hubcap only for #13067 and #13068

– $9.99 each

For starters, you can have a pointed hubcap on your front axle covers! A lot of people prefer this look over the domed style. One possible reason is because it’s easier to add a knock-off like these:

Chrome plastic 5 inch diameter 3-straight bar hub cap spinner

– $4.99 each

These are pretty self-explanatory. You see these spinners on regular hub caps all the time, but not as often on axle covers. Add a colored sticker for even more personalization.

33mm threaded chrome plastic lugnut cover w/reflector

– $2.49 each

Once you’ve added a spinner with a pretty glossy sticker, you might want to add lugnut covers with a colorful reflector to match! This style is identical to the lugnut covers included on your axle covers, which means that the “tooth” style flange will still lock into place with your axle cover.

33mm chrome plastic extra-long spike thread-on lugnut cover w/flange

– $1.69 each

Ok, so maybe the reflector lugnut covers aren’t your style. Maybe you prefer something a little more… vicious. We can serve that look up, too! These extra-long spikes are just shy of 5 inches long, so they pack a lot of power. Again, they have the notched-style flange to lock your axle covers down tight. So, if any thief isn’t too scared to try to steal your axle covers, they’ll have a hard time getting to them anyway!
