Trucking News Convoy – September 18, 2011

Alright, the News Convoy is back this week! We missed some good stuff, but we’ll try to make up for that, pinky swear.

  • It may still be 90 degrees or hotter in some parts of the country, but elsewhere, it’s time to break out the chains. This guide to chain laws and regulations on I-70 in Colorado is a must-read!
  • Here’s an interesting contest – this one’s looking for the best trucking company in the nation. Hopefully, there’s a carrier you’d like to nominate! This sounds like a great way to reward companies that go the extra mile to keep drivers happy.
  • Long hours on the road can get lonely and boring. You could listen to the same CDs over and over again, or you can keep it fresh and listen to the radio. This list of some of the most popular trucking industry radio shows is a great start. Take a look and add your own suggestions!
