We’ve been waiting a long time for Trux to perfect these Kenworth-style cab lights. The Flatline series is extremely popular, and drivers all over the globe have been ready to outfit their trucks top-to-bottom.
The newest offering from Trux Accessories is a more traditional style light than the Flatline series, which they are best known for. The M1 and M3 Generation styles feature smooth chrome, but a classic ribbed lens. The M1 Generation is available in a 4 diode or 16 diode option, while the M3 Generation is available with 2 diodes. All lights are single function.
It’s always exciting when a new truck model arrives on the market, but it’s even more exciting when it’s accompanied by new CHROME! The buzzy new Kenworth is the T680 model, an aerodynamic beaut with curves in all the right places. For these products and even more great stainless pieces for your truck, see our complete Kenworth T680 Exterior section.
Back in 2010, we took on a massive project, the likes of which we had never tried before – giving a truck a complete makeover! Up to that point, we’d installed a lot of chrome and lights on trucks, but never more than a day’s worth of work at a time. It’s not the type of project that’s in high demand – most of our drivers are on their way to a delivery, so they may have a spare couple of hours, but rarely days.
This project was even more interesting because the owner of the truck would be in Israel the whole time. Mr. Valency Shmuel had been a customer of ours for a long time, but we’d always shipped parts overseas to him before. Now, he was buying a new, 2011 Kenworth W900L (a truck with little or no presence in that part of the world) and having it brought halfway around the world to him!
The truck was manufactured in Washington state and driven to us in West Memphis, AR. A long drive, sure, but nothing compared to the trip it would later make by water to Israel. After months of pre-arrival planning and coordination, we started several weeks of work on the truck. Meanwhile, our installation shop stayed open and available to our regular customers. It was a colossal project, but through teamwork and patience, we got it done!
Earlier this year, Mr. Valency and Michael started working on plans for a second truck – this time, a 2014 Kenworth W900L. Again, they spent months choosing parts and coordinating the entire process. They even managed to work in the same amount of glamour on a smaller budget! We’re very proud of how this truck turned out. It’s extremely cool to be involved in a big international project like this one.
Featured Items:
Maxxima amber millennium-style 13 diode LED marker light – shown on cab and sleeper panels, fuel tank fairings, and tool boxes
Stainless steel reversed T-bar with 8 round 4″ light holes – available with virtually any light configuration
2″ round “Stealth” chrome plastic screwless grommet cover – no visor – screwless light bezels! These are definitely an Empire Chrome favorite.
Pearl Amber/Red 48 diode square LED turn signal light – a great fender light, which Mr. Valency chose for both trucks
Years ago, these skull light bezels were extremely popular, then the sales tapered off. After awhile, we discontinued them. But now, thanks to popular demand, we’re bringing them back! Each skull mounts on top of a rubber light grommet using the provided screws. The light will shine through the skull’s eye, nose, and mouth, as well as small slots along the each side of the forehead. This effect may decrease visibility in the daytime, but at night, it creates a killer look that’s truly to die for.
Not to knock our best-selling, wallet-friendly imported truck fenders, but sometimes a driver wants, needs, and deserves the best. And for that, there’s only one brand name – Hogebuilt. Their American-made fenders have always been the epitome of function and form. We’ll be carrying their Standard and Premium series quarter fenders. Here are just a few styles – see our Hogebuilt page for the full lineup.
This style is our cheapest Hogebuilt fender. The Standard series features 18 gauge, 430 grade stainless steel, and ranges in price from $249 to $399. Here’s another example from the Standard series:
The Premium series of fenders features thicker 16 gauge, 304 stainless steel, and ranges in price from $449 all the way up to $749. Here’s another example:
When we first started carrying oversize signage about a year ago, we weren’t sure how popular those items would be. But, it turns out, we’ve had a steady demand! This summer, we expanded our line of red flags and added orange to the lineup!
We’ve been waiting, not-so-patiently, for the rest of the Flatline series to be released. Although we are still waiting on a few more (namely, headlight bezels and cab lights!), it’s great to finally have these turn signals to offer our customers.
First, we have this fender light that’s not just lovely; it’s also convenient! Because there are LED diodes on both sides, in addition to the front- and rear-facing lights, there’s no more need to specify driver’s or passenger’s side. One light works for either fender.
We’ve always stocked quilted gear shift covers, but until recently, we hadn’t made them available for purchase online. Here are just some of the colors now ready for order! Click here to shop our entire selection.
We’ve had requests for years for smaller round lights that can function as a turn signal as well as a marker light. Finally, Maxxima heard those calls and came up with a 2.5″ round light that works really well for both functions. These lights are grommet-mount, and have three plain wires in the back.
